Out of Left Field #43

I would call this one a "variety style" cryptic for those who enjoy a cryptic with a little extra. These two constructors formerly published their cryptics in "The Nation". The puzzles are first rate and arrive via email weekly. Nominal subscription required ($3/month).

Agree! Fun!

Interestingly, the acrostic format had me solving this Richard E. Maltby, Jr. opus quite a bit faster than I usually need on his puzzles.
