Aries Cryptic #32 Meta

#1

Post by Meg »

This is a very nice (and free) cryptic. I have the grid, but no grasp of the meta.

Edit: if you stare at something long enough, the meta gods will smile upon you.

Thanks, Meg. Fun one. Had the answer before finishing the grid & finally parsing some of the trickier clues.

Started the grid, and -- oh! I guess it helps to read the paragraph of instructions above the clues.

Same here as Hector. Now I need to finish the grid. This was very well done. Thanks for posting, Meg.

Edit: parsed them all, I think. Whew! That was a lot of work.

Completed this one - nice! Now back to attempts on WSJ and MGWCC, both currently very stuck in the mud...

Add: unstuck on both :)

Very enjoyable! Andrew’s puzzles are always so well-done.

Which reminds me, I need to re-up my subscription.

Just here to add to the applause.
