I am not sure if this has value for cryptic solvers. My cryptic experience has been extremely limited and - apart from one Forrest Gump moment - I do not fare well. However, it seems that cryptics might involve a lot of erasing & reentering. So, below is a screen shot of one of fifteen grid forms & clues for today's puzzle within an Excel file.

To download, click on the image, below, & the file will open in a new tab. Save the file to your own drive to edit.

EDIT 1: I've alternated clues, only, with a screen capture of clues plus the partial grid (as shown below), to the right of every other grid to meet a request (hopefully).

All feedback is welcome. I don't promise nor wish to create these going forward but will gladly offer a blank template with instructions on how to create your own.

Enjoyed.

3D, 17D, 9A were enjoyable clues this week.
