You can include up to 225 characters as a “signature” that will appear at the bottom of each of your posts. Like an avatar, a signature makes your post more recognizable. You can use your signature to include information about yourself, a funny or meaningful quote, support for a cause, etc.
If you are using a different name than the one you used on the WSJ Blog, your signature is a great place to include your WSJ username, at least in the beginning until everyone knows who’s who. I think this would also help Bob the Cruise Director tie your name here to your WSJ name for his tracking purposes.
To create a signature:
Go to the “Profile” tab in the User Control Panel, and select “Edit signature”
Enter your signature in the box and click “Submit”
