What two-word movie from the 1980s is hinted at by this puzzle?

Good one!

My compliments to Peter G's guest constructor this week, Alex Eaton-Salners.

I found the grid kind of challenging, but saw the path to the meta right away. Nice one, but never heard of movie, as usual.

The light slowly dawned, then flared... good puzzle. Echo Chris' kudos to the constructor.
