Re: (RE) Introduce Yourself

Hi, I'm Kimberly from Chattanooga, Tennessee. By day I work as a corporate paralegal, although I was a high school English teacher in a past life. I've been doing the WSJ crosswords for several months now and enjoy them so much that they are the sole reason I subscribed to the digital WSJ. I can us...

Re: MEOW #28: Don't Overthink It

Bird Lives wrote: Thu Jun 10, 2021 5:22 pm It doesn't seem quite right that a puzzle that has an original idea/mechanism (at least I haven't seen it before) and that was probably a bit difficult to compose should have be so easy for solvers.

If this doesn't work I'm going to have to start posting cat pictures like everybody else. I do take requests.
I probably don't even have to say this :P but IMHO that's half the fun of all this wacky stuff!

Re: "Meta Forum Sleuth"

Well that was a tad, ahem, embarrassing. I had to drink the entire Dr Pepper of nudges, not to mention the Kool-Aid. But I'm OTC finally.
This puzzle is what I like to refer to as "artisanal" -- hand-crafted with love and care! :)

My definitely non-nudgeless path while test solving included something along these lines--- "L", "Yeah" -- "A", "Yup" -- "N", "Keep going" -- "C", "Yes!" -- "E", "You got it!" -- "R", "...
