Absent last week chasing the ever elusive trout. Back now and on shore. It's a 100%'er, but like a few others, felt a little too easy...or is it just me getting better at these?! A scary thought!

Finished the puzzle and submitted an answer for the meta. Not 100% for me. But also not sure what else it could be. What the heck, sand is sand, right? ;)

Have a great weekend all

On shore. Great construction by Mike - always amazes me how these constructors figure out how to make these things work out so elegantly.

Done. Not quite sure what clicked to get this so quickly. Once you have it, you will be 100% certain.

Another "DOH!" moment for me this week. Made it harder than it should have been. Safely on shore.

I'll add my thanks to Wendy this week.

I am baffled by Al Sisti's clever clue in the lounge. I think that's going to be a 'never-gonna-get-it' one for me.

My first answer, though a 5 letter word, was wrong, another 5 letter word often applicable to my answers. Thanks to a nudge, I see it now. Puzzle brilliant, in more ways than one.

On shore without much difficulty. I'm usually amazed at the construction of these metas but this one's extraordinary. Hats off to Mike Shenk aka Marie Kelly!

On shore. Iโ€™ll echo the sentiment of others that Mike did a masterful job constructing this puzzle.

Here's the Thursday evening report. The shore is getting increasingly crowded with happy and thirsty Muggles who solved this amazing 100 percenter: Leslie, Darryl, Richard, Mark L., Doug Morack, Inca, Steve B, Meg Duvall, Frankie Heck, Dave Kennison, It's Gioyall, Scooby, GTB, Tim1217, Joe Quavis, Les Y, Beth Tyrpin, Heidi, Hector, Beth A, T-Mart, KYMike, Tina, Tom Shea, Jim & Anita, Jimmy Jam, Tony S., and Old Judge.
A special shout out to Joe Ross for solving his very first meta! WHOO-HOO! Take it from me, Joe: it NEVER gets old!
Where is Al Sisti?!
Toby was unsure at first but is safely ashore. Special Ed, Janet P and Orsys are still wavering on their answers, and Anita is keeping Isaac company at the WSJ-sponsored bar.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Awww.. how sweet, you missed me! Anyway, I'm here -- just got back from (losing at) trivia. I'm on shore and -- somehow -- still thirsty.

" (losing at) trivia" -- Even Ken Jennings eventually lost on Jeopardy. Weird Al wrote a song about it.
