Ashore. Easiest meta ever and made even easier by 68a. After 3 tough metas this is the second easy one ---- I wonder if this is designed to keep solvers from getting too discouraged and losing interest. I predict over 2,000 entries this week.

I’m on shore...liked it a lot. Sometimes it comes quickly, but I’m not on page 1! Had to help trim while hubby mowed so just got to it now... sangria please!

Must be an easy week, huh? Thought I’d get a head start since I had the afternoon off.

Ashore! Something cold for me.

It was pretty quick, but Step 2 took me longer than most of y'all.

And I was hoping it was another five-letter city. ;)
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

That will come later tonight. The challenge will come on Saturday with the noon report in the midst of kids and grandkids around

Maybe I should give them all the contest to keep them quiet for a while

1:28 since puzzle posting and 70 responses already? Definitely gonna be crowded at the Tiki Bar. I'm elbowing my way to the front of the line as we speak.

Ashore.

Goodness. I had the first step right off and then drew a blank. Tried looking in vain for several known/obvious second steps and then it hit me...DOH!

With the holiday weekend coming up, it's nice to have a clean 100%er so we don't have to wait until Tuesday for the reveal.
Hendricks & tonic with cucumber please as the last of the summer refreshments give way to more hearty drinks soon.

Feels good to be on shore for the first time in weeks. I hope this is the beginning of a streak.

Agreed. I suspect we'd still be on page 1 without it.
