Onshore. Took 45 minutes to do the grid, but the meta only took 10. Fun one!

I think I have it - I have a 6 letter word. But usually it ties to the puzzle but not 100% how this one does. But its probably what I'll submit. If I am right I really liked this one - it made me realize I really need to organize my closet!

Meta didn't exactly jump off the page, but it eventually crystallized. Answer has enough of a connection for me.

After I got all dressed up, you missed my Zoom screenshot? I was there for at least two minutes!

Three things:

1. Ashore. Dazed and amazed.
2. Pour me somethin' tall and strong, because there was no way I was solving that grid without Mr. G. What a head-banger.
3. 39A. When did that happen? Did it hurt?

Thanks, Bob. The Rays are not doing very well, but your Red Sox are below us in the standings. Perhaps not a season to remember.

I enjoyed this grid. Lots of cleverness. My favorites were 1A, plus 67A and 49D.

Not really sure why I knew what to do to get the meta, but I did. I'm onshore.

And in the real world, I wanted to try something different with sweet potatoes for dinner and wondered if Hasselback would work as well with them as with regular potatoes. The answer is yes. Yummy and pretty.

Finally got it. My Yankees have started off hot, which probably means that the season will be cancelled.

Onshore I guess. First 2 steps of meta are clear, but answer doesn't relate much.
