Welcome to this week's installment of Muggle Meta Mondays, which is a 15x15 by yours truly. The puzzle is called "Funny Man," and the answer to the meta is
a famous comedian. If you are inclined, you can send your answer to me by PM, as well as ask for a nudge, give feedback or just say "Hi"
. I will post the answer and explanation this Sunday afternoon, along with the correct number of answers received.
I hope you enjoy the puzzle!

One corner took me as long as the rest of grid, but no Google needed. Twenty minutes of nothing on the meta so I’m off to work.

Got it!
Challenging grid, satisfying meta. It all comes together beautifully. Nice way to start the puzzling week.
Thanks, Brian!

Enjoyed the grid and I have a comedian that is certainly "suggested" by the puzzle, but not yet a clicking mechanism.
Edit: got it. Cool construction!

I am off the couch (and headed to the pool). Great meta...well-constructed.

This one "should" be a click - more than a suggestion.

Same. Suggested but not "spelled" by the puzzle...yet

Another solver just pointed out an extra little piece to the puzzle, that I hadn't noticed before. Not really needed for the solve, but definitely adding to the delight. Seriously, this is one excellent meta puzzle. Brian should be proud.

Got it. Took me a while, but realized something that helped make it a tad easier as well.

Off the couch! (?) I was off to a good start and then lost confidence. After getting confirmation from Brian I found my way to a confident finish!

Such a good meta - thanks Brian! Your cluing is getting really textured, too (in a good way!).
The "in" was fairly straightforward to me, then it emerged slowly and satisfyingly after that. Agree with Rich about the something that helped move it along.

And Xword Muggles Meta has been picked up by Matt Gritzmacher’s daily crossword email!
Brian and Al, I hope the PTO came through with that trademark registration!
