Hey I finally got a Week 5!

Got it, with quite a chuckle.

I've been on a roll this week, so I was just a *tiny* bit disappointed not to get a real Week 5 today. But then I remembered last week, and I'm not complaining.

Done, submitted and confirmed. Now back to his WSJ puzzle which is proving to be quite a puzzler for me this week.

What a relief! Not a week 5 difficulty and I have my weekend!

This one felt easy compared to WSJCC....now, back to Isaac.

Thanks for the easy Week 5, Matt. It makes up for that monster from last week.

Quick solve, but a fun and funny puzzle. Thanks Matt for giving me a free Super Bowl weekend.

Very fun puzzle and I appreciated the easiness because I’m traveling and had to do it on my phone, which I’m not very good at. I actually had the answer less than a quarter of the way through the grid. I don’t think I’m going to be able to get Matt’s WSJ meta this weekend though.

Edited to add: My first post-enlightenment! After posting here I took another look at the WSJ and saw the rabbit ears immediately.

There is not a single thing I could say about this amusing puzzle, and my effort to solve it, that would not be a spoiler.

Got it! Cute. Another one where the answer is a no-doubter, but I expect there will still be some debate about the mechanism.

Very fun. Last week was just one long asymmetrical headache!

I'm still feeling guilty about taking a pretty big hint from another solver last week. I feel like I don't deserve my current MGWCC streak!

found this week's solution as well - what a relief after last week's MGWCC which had me going in circles endlessly.

I’m feeling the same way Chris. I did my first group solve last week and don’t feel right about it.

Yay, my mojo has not totally deserted me. Had this one figured out before finishing the grid. Beam me up, please.
