MGWCC #818 — "One More Time"

Today's puzzle is Week 1 of 4 in February (almost got a 5-Friday February, but not quite!).

No instructions given here since there are no-instructions solving options available.

Oh, why do I bother with the downs only. I did pretty well for more and with only looking at the clues for 1 and 30 across got 2/3 of the grid. But couldn't bring it home.

Anyway a fun one. Not hard but slightly more than a week one. Maybe a week 1.8

EDIT: Beamed at #73.

Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

I don't try for the hard ways, I just go with the full PDF

now, Wordle, hard mode all the time, it's the only way to play it

Yeah wouldn't downs-only be impossible for this one?

Beamed!

First time I’ve gotten the whole grid with downs only.

But not the meta. Needed the rest.

Waiting for the Beam Up, but it's a week one so pretty confident.

It is a sad reminder for me...details after the deadline.
