Thanks for posting about this. I have been doing my best to keep up with it. I find British cryptic clueing to be a lot looser than in American cryptics, as far as what is allowed, so it is a challenge!

I am really enjoying this puzzle, although I am still stuck on many of the longer answer thus far. Thanks for posting this!

I just submitted my completed grid.
That was most definitely fun and a great way to end the year!

Holy moly. I kept meaning to work on this puzzle but never got around to it until THIS AFTERNOON when I finally printed off the grid. I never thought I'd get anywhere near finished in time, but to my amazement I've solved all but one entry! OK, so there are a few where I couldn't quite suss the wordplay, but I'm fairly confident of the answer. Hoping that last one will pop into mind overnight while I sleep.

Did he print the winner's name? I had ONE wrong letter, the first one for 32A (never heard of fashion retailer NT, anyone know what it stands for?), so no chance for me to win, but still had fun doing it all December long.
