Group Solve

Muggles, your biggest fear has been realized.

You have in front of you another debut puzzle, this time a collaborative effort from Guffman and ajk.

You may well ask Mr. Guffman: “Why do you need to get into puzzle creation when you already have a successful gig being the
X-Word Rabbit?

The answer to that has more to do with learning firsthand the challenges a constructor faces than developing yet another gratuitous skill.

How difficult is it? Well, let’s just say our three test solvers @Wendy Walker, @Abide and @Cap'n Rick were all over the map. No fair guessing who was where.

Thanks to all who made this possible, particularly ajk without whose handholding would have left the poor Rabbit deep in the forest.

He wishes everyone the best of luck with no rabbit holes.

The answer is something we hope you don't have to resort to in solving this puzzle.

Couch is free! Excellent debut!!

Thanks for the lovely call-out in 33A.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Hmm, I thought I saw the path off the couch, but then I got a crick in my back and had to sit down again. I'll keep pondering.

Edit: OTC!

I guess when it comes to this debut puzzle you could say we were… waiting for Guffman.

(Tip your waitress, try the REVEAL.)

I'm off the couch without even resorting to nudges (that's not the meta answer). Nice debut puzzle!

Fun Monday puzzle and superbly executed...only one minor rabbit hole, but I suppose that was to be expected

Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of constructing!
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Hang on a minute, shouldn't we be waiting to go DOH!

Oh, and the reveal was delicious but I'm in a fowl mood so I'm going to have the retweet....
