Late to the landing party, but glass of wine (100% Croatina) in hand.

This was one of those... you know... puzzles. The metanism helped me finish the grid.

LOLOL not a step lower, but I knew that if I can't face the DMV without a crossword puzzle, then there was no way I was going to be able to get through labor pains without my favorite distraction! :lol:
