Finally, after many days of Thanksgiving preparations, I was able to do the puzzle. I was so worn out, I stumbled out of the gate, but after another look, found what I needed. Count me ashore looking for a nice nap on the beach!

On Shore

Did not get to it yesterday due to the holiday.

Good grid and fun meta. Went down a few rabbit holes before the a ha moment.

Winning the mug would be a great way to really get the holidays started.

The answer to this week’s contest crossword is what some people try after Thanksgiving.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Looks like Al Sisti and Streroto were already ashore before you set up this new topic, according to their posts on "Part Two" today.
Frank - thanks. I just got home and noted this for tomorrow's summary

Since it was Thanksgiving, may I say that I am thankful that we didn't have a poem theme this week?

Ashore with a satisfying stuffing-stuffed plop after a brute force deciphering effort. Nice puzzle, Mike!
