Enjoyable puzzle with a meta-twist (that Evan turned into a grid entry). Sure would like a way to read Evan's analysis without having to subscribe.

I don't think a subscription is needed?

I do have a subscription, but that link works for me even in incognito mode.

Enjoyed the puzzle, as well as Evan's tribute to his editor in the write-up

Boy, I'll tell you; Evan is a master. I love his crossword puzzles even if they aren't metas (and of course this one was a hybrid).

Evan if you ever want to do a MEOW we will be glad to feature you! You get paid only in praise, but in your case I am sure that would be lofty and extensive!
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
