I don't care if it's not really a week 5, I'm claiming my week 5 win.

Not a pageant. If you show as incorrect after submitting - you are on the list in Overall tab, but not This Week - send me a PM.

That was fun!

Beam up requested
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Submitted and am waiting to hear but I believe it is 100%. Turns out my MMM comment (apart from the April 1st related "early release" comment) was prophetic. Took me quite some time to solve, but it was fun and another of those ...how do you do somehting like that!!!

Nor was he stoned when he said it! But even if he was it is schist between friends.

Seeing all these comments on "something extra" and "the click" got me worried so I went back and looked. I found what I missed and am forced to reiterate; how do you do somehting like that???

Well, I've submitted. But I don't know if the beam will take me...

... and the beam passed me by. That's twice this month!

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

I was irritated in thinking "Yeah, this is a fun idea that is fun to come up with but it's the type where the creator will not quite get how futzingly difficult for the solver to solve with all the kinks and wrinkles" but just when I was about to curse Matt, ... it all broke down.

Probably the PurpleKumquatDishwasherest Week 5 I've ever experienced. (Unless, I blow it and I haven't beamed up)
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Hahaha, good one. I did the grid on the phone riding shotgun on a long car ride and I was looking forward to the pencil and paper part. Great payoff!

Great fun! Grateful that week 5 wasn’t as scary as I feared.
