I’m out of the box. Nice one, Mark!
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Unboxed. The title led me to a hunch as to what the answer would be. The clues and the first couple of relevant entries made me even surer. I was wrong of course.

DINO ME!

I started guessing out of frustration and stumbled upon the answer. Once again, I had it written down in my notes in a couple of different places but did not recognize it. I had to Google it to confirm the answer for myself. I was not familiar with the phrase.

I was trying some comicly bizarre variations of the meta.

Dino me! Nice puzzle, Mark.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Nice one. I had a fast escape from the box... and there's more that I can only say in the crosshare solvers area.
