On shore again! Fun puzzle, especially putting together the 10-letter combinations. Matt Gaffney's puzzle-constructing brain is a weird and wonderful thing!

I only see one solution and it's a lock. Looking forward to the actual solution, said the person who confidently submitted LANA two weeks ago...

Ashore, finally! After looking at it off and on all weekend, I finally had that AHA moment.

Got it- the last callers towed me in. That’s a lesson to go with your gut your ideas! I had the tools all along but tossed them aside. Frankly, I don’t think I ever could have put the tools to use without someone leading me. Thank you again to everyone!

Best Father’s Day present. My daughter got me a baseball scorebook and wants me to show her how to score a game. Hope I remember.

Not nearly the same as coming from your daughter, of course.

This one was a lot of fun! Finally on shore after a long struggle. I only see one answer that’s 100% so I’m going with it.

IDLE MOTION - for the second best possibility - the oxymoron was just ripe

But I thought it was a bit of a stretch to call IDLE a synonym for Pacific so I kept looking and found....

My rabbit hole was finding “MOISTURE” in COMMUNIST SPREE and “HYDRATE” in VERDANT HAY. I finally revisited my initial path, which was the correct one, but then spent way too long on SPOON / LAGOON before finally seeing MOTION / OCEAN. I enjoyed this one!

I had COMMUNIST SPREE as Prague Spring and then submitted YEMENI IDEA as Arabian Sea. I knew I wasn’t a fan of this meta.

Sorry but IDLE MOTION doesn't work for me. The solution is stone-COLD obvious.
