Not seeing anything at all...not unusual. Not surprising since I have long decided that I am rarely on the same wavelength as MG

I'll jump into the Zoom room at 8EDT/5PDT if anyone else wants to do Isaac's Last Call.

Ashore! And my brain hurts.

If you see I'm ashore and need a nudge, feel free to message me.

Solved and submitted. Took longer than it should have because I meandered off the true path (seduced by a wily wabbit) to a path that led me to a dead end. Stopped, reassessed, and got back on the right path.

Now, a brief workout, then I'll have a 60 minute IPA and a cigar. Great to be ashore again!
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

I’m not seeing any connection. Very frustrating. I may try the zoom at 7, hoping to see something before then!

OK. After picking it up again and again every so often, we finally made the connection!
On shore now.

My mind at a loss,
Thought 'Seventy-five across.'
Sure, now I can toss...

...my hat in the ring.

Ashore. Isaac, you're a pal, but the lovely Mme M is pouring quinine and gin, which is as smart as ever gets a mixed drink.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Good evening muggles

Our final count is 3 on the ship and 196 on the shore.

And interesting note from the last two weeks

Two weeks ago (To Go Order - Rubidium) the WSJ had 1457 submissions with 85% correct and we had 176 on the shore and 8 on the ship

Last we (Buzz Cut - Hair) the WSJ had 1405 submissions with 87% correct and we had 174 on the shore and 9 on the ship.

Good luck winning the mug.

Just missed the boat (cutoff)! On shore, had to take another look after solving the grid yesterday, and glad I did!

Well…I have thrown the “Hail Mary”. Couldn’t ignore something I saw Thursday night. Good luck to all!

After missing last week because I was literally on the beach 🏝 and too distracted to finish the meta, I am back with an 11th hour solve but too late to toast it with a Kyiv Mule.
Good fortune to all. I’ll check in tomorrow for the post metam.

It wasn't until I circled the alternate clue answers in the grid that the contest answer popped out - before that I thought I was just down another endless rabbit hole.
