Good Sunday morning muggles

We have had a steady stream of muggles making their way to the sunny shores and up to the Tiki bar - several from far distances. The dedication (or obsession) of muggles is unbounded.

So far we have 8 on the ship and 180 on the shore

PhantomPhan joined the ship's crew for now

and making their way to shore since yesterday are

Beautiful garden! Cynthia and I love the layers and textures of your plants!

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

The NYC Ballet was reviewed in the WSJ. The Goldberg Variations returned with music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
I couldn't help but think of our ballet loving muggles!

I'll raise a glass this afternoon to Roger Angell, perhaps the best baseball writer ever, who died on Friday at age 101.

"Baseball," he once wrote, "will stick it to you; it means to break your heart.”

No truer words.....

Still on the boat, not making the connection here. Gonna miss my flight at this rate

I'll have to remember the solution for this for later. I feel there's a certain class of meta that I can't figure out but the regulars find satisfying and elegant.

---

And just as I typed this, I had a thought and I'm on shore!

Finally on shore - after days of flailing at sea - We didn't find this easy at all - perhaps, one day, with many more years of practice, the hours and hours of frustration will decrease to mere minutes of joy. Very relieved to have finally found land - it wasn't looking good, there, for a while.

Made it to shore with enough of a nudge that it’s a stinking O’Douls for me. Oh well.

If I crack the MEOW, I’ll deserve some Pappy!

I haven't said it in a while, but THANK YOU Bob for being our tireless cruise director.

Also thanks to all the other (VOLUNTEER) mods who help keep this board going for all of us.

Count me ashore as well. Settling for a mug of hot broth as I recover from a bout of COVID I caught in New York on Thursday. Beats monkey pox, though.
