Well, after a number of rabbit holes, 'EUREKA!' (aka, we're ashore!)

Not a particularly difficult puzzle, but when you can't shake chasing the white rabbit, you really do end through the looking glass!

I've been so stupidly busy this week that I forgot (!!!!!! unheard of !!!!!) about the meta contest until this morning. Good thing I cracked it almost immediately.

Did the grid Thursday, saw step 1 but didn't know what to do with it. Put the puzzle aside for a couple of days, picked it up, didn't see anything new. Started crafting my "I'm with Isaac" post in my head, then said "Wait a minute... Aha!" Pre-post enlightenment.
