That was really fun to watch! I actually remembered doing all 4 of the featured metapuzzles, and I'd solved 3 of them, but "Toy Box" was my "not in a million years" one!

I like to do puzzles and have done a lot of them over my life but I had honestly forgotten that Word Squares were even a thing - so aside from about 5 other things that would have made that one unsolvable for me - that would have certainly killed me.
Hard to believe that Toy Box had a higher solve rate than Pageant.

On shore after whiffing last week! Celebrating with an Alpha King - Indiana Pale Ale (that’s a pale ale from Indiana. Not an IPA).

Did 3Floyds ever re-open or are they still just bottling? Spent many a Thursday evening there. And bootlegged a few hundred bottles into Illinois. Even bootlegged a few T-shirts to the east coast for bartenders (airlines don't allow beer in carry-ons for some reason). They have some of the best 'named' beers, as well as some of the tastiest. And what an audio visual experience dining there.JordanianTomlinson wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:28 pm On shore after whiffing last week! Oh man, that sounds amazing (the hundreds of bottles, not the closing). I'm not sure if they opened back up - moved from Indiana a few years ago and (besides the food) the number #1 thing I miss is the beer. We would take trips up from Indy to Munster, grab two cases of Zombie Dust each, and drink them like they were the elixir of life. One of my buddies came to visit me in Durham and brought a case of AK and ZD. Trying to save them for Sundays but the temptation is too much sometimes.Tom Shea wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:56 pmDid 3Floyds ever re-open or are they still just bottling? The hardest five were
#5 What Not To Do answer Monotonous 36% (there were three others at 37% and one at 38%)
#4 Mismatch answer Eagles to Bears 33% (I have an arrow on this one but I don't remember why)
#3 Toy Box answer Clue 33%
#2 Puzzle People answer the infamous Yma Sumac at 26%
and the #1 of course with a record unlikely to be beaten is Play Grounds with the answer Pageant at 13%

Good evening muggles, I am ashore. Fun puzzle.
Enjoyed the first 25 minutes of the WSJ+ conversation until I was rudely invited a work zoom. Will have to catch the rest later. Wish they’d do it every week!

Even after you start the video, it will take more than a minute before Mike Miller appears.
I am a subscriber but logged off WSJ and was still able to play this. Hope this works for you.
