Humming 'Back at the Shore Bar Again' [to the tune of 'Back in the Saddle Again' -- lame, I know, but hey, it's all I got ...: ) ) ) ] after a two-week hiatus. Monkey-and-Tonic with a slice of orange, please. Cheers to all!

Although I haven't submitted yet, sharing the same trepidation. But what the heck ...

Solved. Slight nit which threw me off track for a day, but glad to have toes in the sand (ahead of actual toes in the sand this week...).

Cool puzzle. Grid was tough - learned some new words.

Ashore. After flailing last week this felt very easy. Thanks for the breather Mike!

I too have a nit

Joined by Dom, who so wants to overthink this and not go with the answer we independently arrived at. I will just wait for the reveal Sunday at 11:00 central - I am just not going to try to see if I/we have been pageant-ed.
I'm with Dom, overthinking it. I'm going to head to the shore with the big party, and do my thinking there.

On shore with the same hangups as others. Guessed at the intended answer based on its, um, singularness

I'm gonna sit here at the bar with my answer for a bit. Count me on the boat for now, although I may just be overcautious.

That didn't take long. I'm going to be no less (or more) happy or assured, so so I may as well be ashore.

Well we have all been so conditioned to right not being right that we seem to be blowing this all out of proportion. I'm going with what I got, I smelled the red herring (and it was evil Mike) but believe I was able to detect the real fox (or in this case rabbit).

Submitted and, with relative assuredness, solved.
