Take ATOM, I saw as "find a word from "a - TO - m", like they were orders.

Same result, different perspective on the title.

Gimme that mug! :)

Congrats on the mug!! Ummm… you DID reply to that email as well as post about it here, right? 😉 It’s just a tad unusual for Mike Miller to not have posted the results by now if the winner has responded.

Hello, sorry for the tad unusual delay and the unusually truncated update on a busy week, but didn't want to let any more time elapse without an update! A popular and successful contest this week: 1457 entries, 85% correct. Congrats to this week's winner: Tristan Seres of Rochester, Mich.! Fuller reports in future weeks!

Had a fun long weekend in South Carolina this weekend so didn't have enough time for this one. Despite seeing the four "to"'s immediately and also guessing at the correct mechanism, I somehow missed it. I introduced two scientist friends to the puzzle and hopefully hooked them. Have a great day everyone

Is that the 2nd winner from Rochester (or at least somewhere in northern Oakland County) in about the past month?

Ha! There could be a dozen in a row from the same place on the east coast and I likely wouldn't notice. Just make sure you and the other winner aren't using up SE Michigan's allotment for the next decade or so...

In my original post, I assumed that "Oxygen" would be the most popular incorrect answer. I would have liked to know how many guessed it, but oh well.

It means your chances are either super-duper high for the coming weeks, or it'll never happen for you in a million years. No in-between.

Don't blame me; I live downriver. :)

There is a three time winner. A nice article in WSJ about her, not Back-to-back however.
