Test solvers wanted

#1

Post by damefox »

Hello fellow muggles,

I have constructed a couple (hopefully very easy) meta crosswords that I plan to distribute at an event in a couple weeks. Since this seems to be the place to recruit willing meta solvers, I was wondering if I could get a few volunteers to test-solve these for me. I'm looking for feedback on both the meta and the clues. I haven't actually written the clues yet - that's on my list for tonight - but if you're interested I will hopefully be able to send them out tomorrow.

Reply here, PM me, or email me at damefoxwords@gmail.com if you're interested. I can send .pdf, .ccw, or .puz files, so just let me know your preference. Thanks in advance!

I'm a noobie at these, would be willing to give it a shot.

PDF please, I'm not yet up to speed on the other formats.

That was fun! I've never been a test solver before.

It's a different way of looking at a puzzle - trying to provide some constructive feedback instead of just solving.

They were great puzzles. I expect they'll be a big hit at your event.

I agree, these were impressive! I wish I'd made a better showing as a test solver (needed a hint) but it was fun.

I’d love to look at them if you’d like more feedback - pdf please.
