15 correct solvers and 3 incorrect in 4 hours.

Looks like Matt’s Week 2 Difficulty-O-Meter is on the fritz again.

Weird I solved this one like a Week 2 then I looked at the Board and realized we're getting a Week 4 result. I can kind of see how its playing difficult.

Definitely tough for a week 2. I think I might have a foothold, though.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having difficulty with this one. I've tried two different strategies and nothing yet. Going to put it aside for awhile. (Heidi)

This won't help others much, but if it makes anybody feel better, this is on the harder side for a week 2. :)

How do you see the number of incorrect submissions?

If you are incorrect, you name gets added to the "Overall" list but no other. The number of incorrect submissions is the difference between any of the other three lists (This Week, Streaks, This Year) and Overall.

Makes sense, thanks!

Got it late last night and had to wait til morning to see if I was right. It's a good one, and maybe a little tougher than a week 2.

Beam me up!

Just BTW ... Lynne and I found a different coincidental thing here that answers to the puzzle's request quite nicely ... though in not-quite-worthy-of-a-meta-puzzle style. I was stuck in this rabbit hole for a while. If I think of it, I'll post on it after the deadline. I'm guessing that some others here may have been there too.

This one took me ages! So many empty tunnels. And then, there it was. Not a week 2, IMHO.

I've been through so many tunnels, I'm about to scream. I'll keep looking, though. (Heidi)

Lots of false leads to frustrating dead ends. Maybe the mechanism is a week 2, BUT finding it was (for me) very very hard.

Got it! Once the deadline's expired I'll post what helped it click for me. Having gotten it, I can maybe see why it's a week 2, but I think week 3 might've been more reasonable.
