We have 195 on the shore as there has been a steady stream of post Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and pumpkin pie filled muggles getting to shore

Joining the crowd on the shore are

agatha
Mary F

Barbara K - WHO WAS THERE ALL ALONG AND I MISSED HER
DB Miller

Billkatz
Ann
Burak
fstadler
joequavis
annabelle
Paul D
and tigerfly222
and Dennis who came ashore as I was typing the list

and for any Broncos fans - are you ready to step in as their QB for the day. For anyone who does not follow football, Denver had 4 quarterbacks deemed out yesterday because of the Covid. And that is all they had under contract.

Stay safe
The Broncos might consider calling the young lady from Vanderbilt who kicked off for the Commodores against Missouri yesterday.
They could not have done any worse

Good evening. Our final report is a little early as the tenders going to the shore have been empty for a few hours.

We have 200 on the shore which is a very high number but not a record.

new to the shore since lunch are:
Tmart - who was there all along - probably buying Cindy a drink so that was the reason I missed them both (my story and I am sticking to it)
flamingbear
Daniel G
and Steve Beard

Good luck winning the mug.

Sorry, Cruise Director, Sir.
Count me ASHORE for the record.
Whirlwind 4 day weekend, and just now sat down to the task.
(Not the first time I've missed the boat. Nor, in all likelihood, the last.)

The hardest part is NOT overthinking it. Mike provided lots of rabbit holes, which you must step around.

Finally got it and am on the shore. Only my second time without a nudge! Clever puzzle. Thanks.

Ashore—was trying to make it harder than it actually was.

Did anyone else get Aye Aye (pronounced eye eye) for the answer? Five words in the grid had a double I, seemed like a logical solution, maybe it was just me.

I didn’t think of "the Roman numeral II". I just figured it was 2 i's. I got the answer, so I guess it doesn’t matter....

I thought of the Black Beast of Caerbannog, but stopped counting when I hit eleven eyes.
