Would you be as motivated on metas if giveaways for swag didn't happen?

Yes, I'd still be as interested in metas if the drawings for swag didn't exist.

MGWCC quit giving random weekly prizes this year, and his subscriber/solver numbers have continued to grow. Doesn't prove anything of course, but interesting.
