I wonder if the storms account for the delay?

Whatever the over/under is for number of times I'm checking my email -- take the over.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

If I weren’t so cheap, I would own Adobe Photoshop, in which case I would have posted an image of the Monopoly board with Mike Miller’s photo superimposed behind the bars on the “In Jail” corner square.

I would be right there with you, except that I didn't submit an answer this week, so I have nothing to worry about. Hey, a silver lining!

Hello from a busy vacation week and apologies for the delay and the shorter-than-usual report!

A fairly tough one this week, with 834 responses, about 80% correct. Lots and lots of 6-letter guesses (CHANCE, SUBWAY, RACISM, ENTITY ISLAND, SERIES, many many others.)

Congrats to this week's winner, Paul Yee of Oakland, Calif.!

Many years/decades ago, I made this life-size Monopoly board using counted cross-stitch. It was for my folks for their game room. They have both died in the past two years, so it came back to me. We have no room for it here, so it is currently under the bed in the guest bedroom.
I hope you pulled it out to get the meta

Isn't everything under the bed in the guest bedroom? :)

Heidi, invite yourself over for coffee and bring your purse, which, you just remembered, is mug-shaped.
