I enjoyed the puzzle. Looking forward to more from Chase Dittrich.

This is probably close. There used to be a line at the bottom of the page that tracked the most users ever online, but I removed it around November when it inexplicably started saying we had like 350 people online. It must have been some kind of bot attack and I decided it wasn't really helpful.

Now please don't ask me any more questions because answering is interfering with my refreshing. :P

On this site, for the WSJCC, 416, two weeks ago for What Not To Do.

"What Not To Do" - March 27, 2020

416 Replies - 9429 Views

My guess is that there were several weeks on the WSJ Comments section for other WSJCC topics.

Sometimes I've found that browser refresh in Chrome fails to update the puzzle list, because of browser caching, I guess?

Anyway I now do a "hard refresh," which means holding down CTRL and either clicking the refresh icon or pressing the F5 key. Neither seems to be helping at the moment . . .

You get a slight advantage by subscribing to notifications for new puzzles, if you're a WSJ subscriber.

(EDIT: Meg: The meaning of life is 51, because — for those of us that are not mathematicians — 51 is nine times better than 42.)

First post... wanted to let everyone know that you can often find the puzzle by determining the URL. See:

https://blogs.wsj.com/puzzle/crossword/ ... index.html

for this week's puzzle. I imagine the puzzle was posted but someone forgot to put the link up.
