Musical Meta #2: "Are There Any Alternate Definitions?"

#1

Post by dannykbernstein »

Thank you everyone who solved the first one!

This one has a slightly easier grid, and what I think is a slightly more difficult mechanism for the meta. Hope you all enjoy! (PS: This week's answer is one of my favorite musicals of all time - if you haven't heard of it, I encourage you to fall down a YouTube rabbit hole, or listen to the soundtrack. My heart.)

The solution to the meta is a musical written with alternate versions to accommodate different casts.

Enjoy!

Danny

I test solved this one. Great cluing and a clever meta!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

This was great, thank you! Definitely had me stumped for a while (and I made a lot of wrong guesses) but it was fun to finally get it! Now I need to check it out!

Well. I somehow missed this when it first came out. I'm at a bit of a dilemma as I am obviously overthinking this one. But I don't know what else to do other than hit reveal and I know I don't to do that.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.
