Grid completed at breakfast. Nothing but a couple of not-too-deep rabbit holes. Came back to it after lunch and there it was.

OTC!

Haven't started yet. But when a Capn Rick puzzle is a Gentle Ripple, a woozy always fails to get the gist.

EDIT: Yep.... no idea so far.

EDIT: I think the MGWCC has melted my brain. There is nothing here.

EDIT: Wait... was that always there in the puzzle?

EDIT: Okay, solved. Fun and easy once the pixel fairies got around to adding something to my screen that I swear was absolutely simply not there before in any way.

Wednesday Nudges

Here they are!

"I've been looking everywhere in the grid, but I don't see how ESSAYS works as a hint."

"Oh, wait. Maybe it has something to do with the clues?"

"ESSAYS, ESSAYS, hmm..., oh, I see it! (Or should I say "IC it!" :D )"

"Just look at all those symmetrically-placed entries whose clues start with S and A!"

Those 6 entries kinda paint a picture of a well-known writer from the 19th century who spent time at this "thoroughly" satisfying place.

Please PM me if you're still stuck! Good luck!
