Ashore! As usual I was over complicating it. When will I learn? Acarl got me to see the simplicity. If I win the mug I’ll have them mail it to her.

I’m still on the ship; but am going to try for the walk epiphany. I’ll take the dog, maybe he can help.

Haven't read the comments yet, but I'm guessing that, compared to last week, there will be a number on shore who felt good they didn't have to Rho to shore and order a Chi cocktail from the tiki bar (which won't taste good if you just Eta Pi).

I know, I know... You're all going, "Psi..."
And, I'll tip-a my kappa to you, sir......

Finally got it. Picked it back up this morning, and saw the mechanism.
Phew.

Edit: Deleting text of my post because it's no longer relevant and was just cluttering things up.

P.S. No, it was not a spoiler, no matter what you may think. So no trying to remember what it said, or asking others who read it in an attempt to get a free nudge!

P.P.S. Okay, this edit is probably longer than the original post, so... sorry for the clutter. My bad.

Still on the ship. From the discussion it sounds like I better back out of some of these deep holes and start over.

When I’m going deep into a rabbit hole, I stop and think “on Monday they will explain/show the answer in just 2 or 3 lines” …. So I gotta keep it simple.

If I don't see it relatively quickly, I usually don't see it at all.

This is not looking good... 😐

I know that a lot of people are having a tough time with a meta when we get over 60 participants on the Friday zoom. This was one of those times.
Don & Cynthia

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

What? People didn't find it as easy as Pi?

(That's my "throwback reference pun"!)

Aha! Finally managed to quit overcomplicating things and see what was right in front of me.

🥂🏖
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Ashore! Looked at many variations on the ultimate winning theme before I settled on the right one. Love Mike's puzzles.

Ashore, with doubt...

(It's either right, or a remarkable coincidence)
