I'm busy with work and haven't started writing on the grid, but I'm pretty sure I'm on shore with the help of your post and solving some of the grid in my head.
Eric, I hope my post wasn’t a spoiler!!
I've now finished the grid and submitted. Your post wasn't a spoiler, but it gave me the confidence to post that I was on shore before I was sure.

I need to be more careful about spoilers though. Last week I had a post removed for saying that if you had the answer and didn't submit you were a word coward.
I hope the admins let this post through now that last week's contest is over.
I LOVE Word Coward!

As I am always looking for new ways to waste my time (Guinness and bourbon notwithstanding), this week’s puzzle has reminded me of a game that I used to enjoy quite a bit, but haven’t played for years. Once I solved the meta, I went looking for it and now find myself re-hooked on the subject game.

Oh well....at least I now have something to do between metas.

Before I start on the Saturday puzzle, we have 102 on the shore already. Maybe another record week?
