As I was closing the window, it popped for me. Had to take a moment to figure out how to seal the deal...but I've made it all the way home. (I liked this one, it's my preferred type of meta).

Hmm. Seems too easy. Though they’re all easy once you see them, right?

I’ll have a nice cup of 52D - my favorite type - on the shore.

I don’t love the title, but I can’t think of a better one.

I liked this one a lot. Had trouble with the grid in the upper left corner, but finally saw it. And had trouble with final step of meta, but finally saw that too.

I think I'm on shore, for the first time ever, but

I think I got first half of answer correct as the meta is obvious, but am I supposed to make an obvious guess for second half of answer, or is there a way to solve the second half with meta?

Count me ashore. Got a late start, but a quick finish.

at the bar for a tall, cool, Long-Island 52D with Isaac.

got the grid, have an idea about the mechanism, am a bit stymied. Perhaps not being "daring" enough.

On shore. I agree that it was a tough grid but a relatively easy meta.

I thought the grid was fun and not difficult.

But I don't understand the title. Grid Daring ?

So not getting the meta now.

On another note I can’t sign into this blog over WiFi. I have to use LTE.
You get serious karma points for that one, Beth! I've been known to say one word to family members--"PUZZLE!"--should they forget themselves and call between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday. They don't do it again.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

There is a way to get the second half as well. Just keep doing what you were doing.
