Ashore! I didn't have time to get to this until tonight, and was worried for a bit that I wouldn't get it. I'm traveling back to Maine tomorrow figured it if didn't come to me tonight I might not get back to it tomorrow or Sunday.

Happily and confidently ASHORE.

(Now, for the weather to cooperate tomorrow...)

One comment, though not a spoiler, did give me confidence in my answer. Onshore now.

Welcome! And congratulations on solving!

Every week, some people just happen to be on the same wavelength as the constructor and solve quickly. And they're the first ones who come here and post, because the rest are still busy working on it. So the early comments almost always suggest that it's an easy puzzle, and it's a day or two til those who struggled with it get around to posting and a more realistic picture of the difficulty emerges.

There's one comment that is definitely a spoiler.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So be it. The puzzle is so easy it probably doesn't make any difference.

Ashore. Fortunately another almost ancient mariner towed me to the correct shore just as I was about to set foot on a deserted isle.

On the beach. Where's the SPF30? Didn't get to spend any time with Isaac. Oh, well...
Good luck, Muggles.

Ashore.

Have had the answer since early Friday morning. Without explaining why and possibly offering a spoiler, I will submit Sunday evening.

Dilbert and I were kicking it around at the office, yesterday...

Nice to have a short swim as opposed to never finding the shore last week. Feels like a 100%er to me.

Could stand it no longer, submitted my answer which I started 98% sure of and the more I read became less sure of. Still it seems to meet the parameters and I'll holler long and plaintively if it isn't correct. I'm just afraid of a Gaffney Twist at the end. Ah well, "Liberty Call, Liberty Call - all ashore that's going ashore"

I was another one who finished the grid, then got stuck on the meta. Happy to say that a good night's sleep worked wonders and I figured it out before I had my morning coffee. I will be swimming to shore once the caffeine kicks in!☕

Like several others, the grid took me more time than usual, but the meta came pretty quickly. Count me on shore, please, Bob.

On shore. I didn't find the solution to be quite as easy as some did but I feel quite confident of my answer.
