I’m still with Isaac. I got the MGWCC. I see the rabbit in this one, but he’s going in too many directions for me to catch him.

Count me ashore. Very tough grid for me, but the meta came about on the second rabbit hole.

Have a great weekend all!

Still working on this one. I see what I'm supposed to see, it's just not coming together. (Heidi)

Well that was 24 hours of staring into a blank void of nothingness! There just wasn't any there there. I had the right idea initially but was too focused in the wrong direction (pardon the pun).

Safely ashore!

Hi, muggles!

I’ve been silently auditing this good-natured silliness for a number of months now—sometimes with a drink in hand; more frequently floundering far from shore—but haven’t posted before today.

I look forward to sharing some drinks with you all at the bar—perhaps sooner than later, as I am safely ashore and mighty thirsty!

Cheers!

LAS.

Grid complete, and I think I see a few rabbit tracks. To judge by the number of muggles already at the beach party, I'm making this harder than necessary. But looks like this is one I'll need to sleep on.

I am safely on shore. Once I saw the method, it fell pretty quickly. And a first for me this week - I solved the MGWCC meta before starting the grid. Now I must go back and fill it in. Wine Country Century tomorrow, we'll see if these legs hold up for 100 miles...

Finally on shore! As others have mentioned, I had to look at a dictionary to see if I was correct.

Hello all! My first post and I'm delighted to report that I am at the Tiki Bar! I started doing the WSJ xwords in late March. Then I discovered the contest and I was hooked... (Actually, I spent as much time trying to decipher your coded comments as I did solving the puzzles! I love this new forum; what great fun!)

This is only the 2nd meta I've solved.

So am I offically a Muggle?!

Cheers to those at both of the bars,
Bee

I'm very happy for all of you who are ashore. So far I got nothin'. I had a couple of ideas, but they went nowhere.
