There's a new contest puzzle from Fill Me In. I'll rate this one 2.6 bananas on a scale of 5 bananas. (Bananas has nothing to do with the puzzle, it's just a 1-to-5 scale we made up.)
The puzzle is called "Color By Numbers" and was constructed by me (Brian Cimmet). The solution to the puzzle is the name of a music duo. We know that the last contest also had a music duo as the solution, but we assure you this is not any kind of trend nor is it a mega-meta, it's just the way it happened to work out.
The crossword can be downloaded from here. You're welcome to solve and talk about the puzzle -- but if you want to be eligible for a prize, you have to listen to the podcast for this week's password. Nudged to a solution which I think is correct. But, man, there was no way I was going to infer that answer without more help in the grid!
Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!
