Enjoyed it, and even had a little help on the meta from my son, who usually refuses to even try them.

Excellent meta! Added layer of fun in the solving, even once I figured out what was going on.
The meta week is off to a very good start!

I liked this one a lot. Tough grid as usual, but a fun meta with lots of “ahas”.

A few rabbitless holes, but I found it after all. Nice meta!

Fun! And not too hard -- which was appreciated after an all-day drive coming back from a visit with our son and daughter-in-law (and their new puppy!) several states away. I found doing this puzzle relaxing, not frustrating. Though I'll also welcome the harder PGWCCs when they come. Nice job, Peter G!

This was hard, and I had to back solve to find the last piece. I had the right first step, finally saw what to do next, but then made some mistakes that led me astray for a while. Excellent puzzle. There is a minor error in 22D (referring to 6A rather than 6D) which is unrelated to the meta. And I didn't believe 51A was a word, but it is.

Hi Toby, I had the same reaction to 51A. If you're willing, would you mind PMing me the word and where you found it?Toby wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 1:27 pm This was hard, and I had to back solve to find the last piece. I got the meta already, but if I hadn't found the entry point I used then it I think it would have been way more difficult.
Thanks!

Similar to Toby's experience. I had instincts about the pieces early on but didn't pursue them until now. Very nice meta.

51A and 22B appear to be editing problems. Clues were likely written before the grid was completed, but they don’t seem to affect the meta.

Count me on shore. Forgot about this one until today. Quick solve for me (sometimes things just click and other times they don't).
