Beam me up! Fun! I think slightly harder than a usual week 1, not counting the trouble I had with the grid :-)

There are people who don't use highlighting on grids & clues?

New Rule #1: Find a method to highlight grids & clues.

agree with that last comment and actually put something to that effect in my submission to him.

I score it a week 3 grid and a week 1 meta. Submitted it, 100%, not on the board yet but no concerns about it.

My daughter pioneered the use of Procreate (an iPad app) which gives us virtually unlimited ways to highlight, brainstorm etc. Highly recommend it for those who are ios inclined.

Beam me up. I made the mistake of reading comments before solving. Putting the nuances of the comments together created a significant spoiler. It took me less than five minutes to solve the meta after completing the grid.

I guess putting that info together is a puzzle in and of itself though.

Submitted and pretty sure I am correct. Not, in my estimation any easier than last week and for me initially a little harder. Yes once you see it you go OF COURSE, but then I just did that with the WSJ one as well. Difference is that I got this one sans nudge, that one I needed a push.

So, unconfirmed but rather sure I am materializing in the transporter room.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Beam me up! Not an instant meta solve but quick enough to be considered a Week 1 for me.

I'm here in the comments because it's not obvious to me, so hoping someone spills a little info for me. I'll be back if it works.
