Pretty sure I got it - waiting for the board to update. I was really hoping for one more step that would have put a cherry on top, but it wasn't there.

Edit: On the board!

On the board. Beamify me. Nice one! I wrote in the comments that Matt needs to replace the battery in his clock. Lol.

now that I'm done w/ Patrick's puzzle, time to start on this one, glad to have a bit of extra time.

Matt - the WSJ discussions you were in ... very nicely done. I can see why you needed more time.

EDIT: you listen to some very different music than I do.

I have an answer I’m sitting on. I can justify the first part of it, but not the rest. Let’s stare some more.

Edit: It was the correct answer.

Saw this one and thought uh oh. I know even less about children's shows than about sports. (And I know so little about sports, I guessed wrong about what sport 17A was referring to.)

But mission accomplished. Beam me up!

I think I have it. Waiting for confirmation. My original idea was correct, just didn't execute it the right way.

Edit: Beam me up!

After some struggling I got this one. My earlier struggles with the WSJCC helped me on this one - it is a different mechanism here, but the first step that I took to break the logjam was similar in both.

Beam me up! I spent some time looking for one more step. Couldn’t find it. Submitted anyway. On the board. Interested to hear Matt’s comments on Wednesday.

Think I have identified the first step. At least that’s progress.

EDIT: Submitted. That sure came quick once I got a start.

Oh, there it is. I predict many correct Hail Mary guesses this week (on this and the WSJ). (It's not really a spoiler; I just thought some people might think it was too much of a hint.)

I'm having a tough time with this one. I've got an answer I like and I wish I could make it click, but I can't quite. Is there anybody out there who's beamed up willing to let me bounce some ideas off them?

I'd love a hint if someone's willing to PM me.

UPDATE: thanks to the folks who contacted me. I think I got it. Submitting now.

UPDATE 2: Beam me up.
