This week’s contest answer is something you might have done today in the kitchen.

Send Matt a note and he can fix it after the deadline.

Edit - Looks like you are on the board! Congrats.

Had one rabbit I was chasing, but don't think it is the right one. Need to think on this one a bit more.

Flew through the grid, pursuing one rabbit but not terribly confident about it...

It's about nap time here in the midwest. Too early for me to have a drink, though.

This may the first time I solved both WSJ and MGWCC on the first pass. I’m usually struggling at the deadline on one or the other.

I either drank too much or got too little sleep last night, because I forgot the Friday Gaffney puzzle was even a thing. Then I saw a post here about it, but was getting ready to go kayaking with my son. Had that little adventure, and now I'm exhausted. I finished the grid, but I think I might just save the meta for my Saturday activity. Visiting my Dad on Sunday, so I hope I can figure it out in one day...

I have something, but struggling to have it be a sensible answer. Think I'll put it aside and mull it over later. Might be the wrong approach, but so far that's all I got.

Not my favorite Matt meta, but thankfully I don’t have to stress all weekend.

I agree with Meg, but like a famous accountant once said “If it’s finished, good”. I am on to trying Al’s meta. He doesn’t spend much time solving them so he now has time to construct them.

Nice construction, but squishy.
