Agree - 1.75-2 sounds right - we'll see what the final solver total is.
Fun puzzle, and I am beamed up!

Got it. I tried to do it without looking at the prompt, but that was a bust. With the prompt, maybe a week 1.5.

Beam me up, Scotty! Not quite the walk in the park I had expected. I'd put this as a solid week 2.
Edit: but a week 1 grid for sure.

Got it! Definitely took longer than the Week 1 usual time I expected though

Solved. I really enjoyed the puzzle. I think it could have been a really good later month contest if the theme entries went unidentified.

I never would have gotten it in that case! (Although that would be normal for a week 4.) Beam me up, I think, waiting on update. This was an excellent one.
(Edit: On board!)

I like this one a lot. Definitely not a base week 1 but that's fine by me!

Very tricky for a Week 1. At least a week 2, for me.

Very nice. I think Matt threw us a bone for the first puzzle of the month. I like bones.

I went down some bad twisty rabbitless tunnels before hitting the right one. I really hate when that happens on a week one.
