#612 - "They're Falling For You"
The answer to this Week 3 meta is a snack you might buy from a vending machine.
According to Matt, because last week's puzzle was on the hard side (??), this week will be an easy one.

Back on page one of the posts after getting a dose of humble pie by Messrs. Berry and Washington (still humbled by this week's pgw).

I submitted right after an update, so still waiting for confirmation, but 98% sure that I beamed up to the right place. This one was harder for me than last week's, but still easier than the usual week 3 I think...
Updated: Confirmed on (leader)board.

I just joined MGWCC and enjoyed solving my first puzzle on this site. Looking forward to more fun in the future. Thanks a lot Matt.

Beam me up! For some reason when the constructor says how easy it is my game ramps up (or down) accordingly.
Getting killed on the pgwcc like others, but dragged myself over the finish line on the WSJCC.

Done. I don't remember eating this snack, but I had heard of it.

Try again. It won't let you submit twice, so if you have already submitted, it will let you know.

Got it, finally. I always seem to make these types of puzzles harder than they need to be.
Still working on pgwcc as well - I have an obvious answer there that makes no sense to me.

Beam me up!
Got it while on a brief vacation, sitting on a deck overlooking cacti and mountains, while slightly tipsy from a Barrel Aged Manhattan (too many ingredients to remember), and thinking, “All is right with the world.” Then I read the headlines!

I thought last week's was easier, but in the end I’m just happy that I solved it and won’t have to stress over the weekend. BTW, the WSJ Saturday is a HEX cryptic. Yay!

Beam me up!
When the first thing I tried didn't yield anything, I wondered off for a bit before realizing that a slight tweak to my original thought would give me an answer.

Well I crashed and burned this week. I came home after a long day, did the grid, and gobbled up a red herring lurking in the grid. Rookie mistake. Oh well, it's just a puzzle!
