On the shore. Hope it takes us to a happier place in 2021. Thanks Mike for the smile and the opportunity to have a little fun for a few minutes.

On shore, and still happily subscribing to the WSJ. One of the few real delights of the past year, post-March, was the discovery of the meta puzzle, the WSJ contest, and this group. Enjoy 2021!

Pretty sure I'm ashore. If not, I'll still celebrate the last meta of the year. Here's to next year!

Matt gave us an easy one as we exit what has been a brutally difficult year. Done and Done. Time for some Eagle Rare. Happy New Year to all and good luck Muggles!

Ashore! Champagne, please.
Thank you Mike and Matt and Bob and all the rest. The WSJ crossword contest and this forum has been a fun thing to look forward to every week during a year when staying home and not doing much was the thing to do.
Happy 2021 to all!!

I now see two answers and trying to figure out which one is the one Matt wants.

I think the shorter one is more his style.

Was having a little trouble, but then it all cleared up. Last year there would have been two valid answers.

Jay's pentameter?
He's no amateur.

Happy 2021 to all.
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

Two possible answers? That explains why the answer I submitted didn’t have a clear path to it.

I see it now. Nice.

I'd love to be able to say that I was on the shore of another year after so long in the morass of 2020. But at least I've solved the meta. Thanks, Matt! It was fun, and it's good to be here! Happy New Year, everyone!

Ashore!

You all have been an oasis of good cheer in this unprecedented year. May the new year bring you all Mugs filled with gummy versions of the COVID vaccine.

Warm regards - take care,

Done and done.
If I'm around, I am willing to join the Muggle Zoom room at other times to lend a hand to those in need.

Good job! I wonder if Beth T forgot to set her meta reminder alarm?

Happy New Year!

Only one possible answer if you follow the meta path Matt has provided.
