Woo hoo! I finally made it to shore! Damn... it's been a months' long swim :) I shall savor both my Clase Azul tequila and this feeling - as it surely won't last more than a week - hahaha

Deep fried turkey yesterday; several turkey + cranberry sauce sandwiches today; finally time for a look at the challenging grid tonight. Safely ashore just moments after completing the grid. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Working on Al Sisti’s puzzle this week got my mojo running again. So I am glad to say that after a few weeks with Isaac, I am ashore.

Neighbors invited us over for Thanksgiving this year. Great food and no leftovers to put away. We contributed a lasagna which, while not traditional, was very well received.

Left a portion of the pasta for Isaac at the bar. He’s been great in getting me food while working on puzzles and taking up one of his stools.

Ashore, with a silly song about unicorns and Noah's ark stuck in my head (because of the "two by two" line in it).

Ashore. Last week I posted that the meta mechanism smacked me in the face while I was enjoying my second cup of coffee. The same thing just happened again! Looks like I might have a new solving routine. Hey, I'll try anything that will keep me out of rabbit holes all weekend!

Didn't start this til this morning. Quickly ashore. Perhaps a Kentucky Breakfast Stout for breakfast, I'm not driving.

Hahaha you're welcome :) We listened to that a lot when our kids were little. It's a cute little song but doesn't end well for the unicorns.

Just got to the puzzle today, and spent waaaayyyyy too much time overthinking. But I'm going to blame the post Thanksgiving food (and wine and bourbon) buzz and celebrate being on shore. And here's a pic of my Mom and me enjoying our outdoor feast on an unseasonably beautiful Thanksgiving day.

My first time trying this Meta thing. Seemed pretty obvious, so I'm guessing other weeks are harder?

I waited until this morning to take a look at "Two by Two," after tackling the New York Times crossword. I figure, fun, like work, expands to fill the time allotted for its completion. This one was mostly fun, but not for a very long time. I'm happy to be ashore with so many other Muggles, but I believe I can wait until later in the day to have the celebratory drink for solving. I hope everyone had a fulfilling, if perhaps nontraditional Thanksgiving.
