Uh-Oh. It's 5 PM. Where are all the early solvers? This could be a long weekend.

Did the WSJ become subscription-only? I can't see any crosswords after Oct. 17, including this contest.

I just signed out of the WSJ and then went and looked without signing in, and all the puzzles show up for me, including this one. I'm on a Mac using Safari. And the link in the previous post works too.

Got it! Finished the grid in ~10 min (except for 22D), then spent about an hour on the meta.

Halfway there!!! Swimming mightily!
5:45 p.m.: Gosh, but that was a challenge. On shore, somewhat bedraggled.

Good luck, fellow Muggles! I'm happy to give nudges, but only if you're still stuck on Sunday.

I try to do these on line - Mac Safari.
After getting the grid I clicked and it went blank.
Does not hurt to redo but can not figure out what is going on.

I’m on the beach!! Warm sand feels good. My cabana boy apparently plays the ukulele. On my second margarita.
