Ok, ashore on what I’m sure will be hard fought ground. I’ll opt for the Oregon, Burgundy or Rhone 43D please. But I’ll gladly have it with some 43D Sea Bass ( or Patagonian toothfish for the purists).

Be hard to socially distance this week, maybe they are trying to lull us into a sense of false security with easier puzzles? Although this one would NOT have been that easy if my first inkling had proven to be wrong. There are more than a few tiger traps in this META
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Thoughts on Coming Ashore

Which winery part had I sat in?
And that baseball bro, was he Latin?
That chemist in the regatta?
I deduce he was not a

Got it.
And I like how every week we have to think outside a different box.

Aye. I all too often invoke Worsley's help in navigating the roiling waters to the Tiki bar.

Did the puzzle as soon as it came out yesterday. Had one letter wrong and one wrong answer and thought it was the hardest grid I had ever seen. Went back and corrected those mistakes and finished the grid in about 5 minutes. Went down a couple of rabbit holes and gave it up for the day. Woke up at 5:00 this morning, looked a it again and slapped my forehead and swam excitedly to shore.

That was probably the fastest meta solve I've had. Could be just lucky that the first thing I tried worked? Definitely safely on shore.

The light finally dawned. I am not a fan. My brain definitely works in a different way. My fault, not Matt's. If I happen to win the mug, this week, it will be the prize for a future MMM of my devising.

Congratulations to all who saw it quickly & best luck to muggles yet to solve!

Ashore after circling the ship for a while. Think I drank all the liquor on the lido deck, but in my defense I did pick up the tab!

Onward to MGWCC, and Happy Weekend to all!
